Job summary

Emerson is seeking a field-based Sales professional for the Flexim business to drive growth across the Northeast district and surrounding states. You will work directly with customers and municipal reps to solve real-world measurement challenges and expand market presence.

Responsibilities include developing sales across multiple industries, aligning with Regional Managers on campaigns, and serving as the main contact for distributors. Travel up to 60% and sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, a Technical field, or a related field.
• Three of which must be in sales or marketing.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth for Emerson’s Flexim business across the Northeast district and adjacent states, partnering with customers and municipal reps to solve real-world flow metering challenges.
• Develop sales across Building Automation, Oil & Gas, Refining, Metals and Mining, Power, WW, Food & Beverage, Life Science.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager to align sales & marketing strategies, including campaigns, webinars, exhibitions, and conferences.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for distributors and customers for all product and application requirements.
• Create and implement a market business plan with Regional Managers to achieve targets.
• Identify new applications, submarkets, and growth opportunities while monitoring market trends and competitive activity.
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop distributors and end users on flow metering applications.
• Use knowledge of business drivers to guide actions.
