Job summary

Atlas Copco in Union, NJ seeks a Field Sales Engineer, Equipment to drive sales growth of compressed air solutions. You will design applications, prospect new accounts, and manage quotes while coordinating with engineering and product teams.

The role requires territory planning, customer-focused execution, and travel within the U.S. You will use Salesforce, CPQ and SAP to quote and record activities, support a local sub-distribution network, and help clients realize energy savings with rebates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree in management, business, engineering or related field (desirable).
• Customer-focused with strong needs analysis.
• Willing to take calculated risks while remaining analytical.
• Self-motivated and organized with flexibility for varying workloads.

Responsibilities

• Design compressed air solutions and stay current on Quincy product offerings.
• Prospect new accounts, manage quotes, and develop key relationships.
• Audit systems, present results, and arrange rebates with utilities.
• Support and grow local sub-distribution network.
• Provide training and troubleshoot systems.
• Meet sales goals across rotaries, compressors, accessories and services.
• Collaborate with teams to develop opportunities and recover lost customers.
• Use Salesforce, CPQ, and SAP to quote and track activities.
• Process orders with proper approvals and contracts.
• Travel daily within territory and domestically as needed.
