Job summary

Atlas Copco is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth by combining technical expertise with deep customer understanding. You will report to the Sales Manager and collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement effective sales strategies.

You will engage with new and existing customers remotely and in person, assess needs, deliver compelling product demos, and develop long-term plans to expand relationships while safeguarding profitability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree desirable in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or related technical field.
• Customer-focused with ability to prioritize customer needs.
• Ability to take calculated risks while analyzing potential pitfalls.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to handle varied workloads with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
• Assess customer needs and propose suitable products, services or solutions.
• Deliver sales presentations and perform product demonstrations.
• Develop medium-to-long-term sales plans and strategies to protect, grow and diversify relationships.
• Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies using your technical expertise and customer insight.
