Job summary

Thryv is seeking an Outside Software Account Rep in Shreveport to grow the local SaaS client base and deepen engagement with existing customers. The role requires blending remote work with face-to-face client meetings and a strong focus on meeting sales quotas.

You will prospect, present software solutions, and collaborate with marketing and tech teams to implement strategies and drive revenue. A drive-for-results attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct sales experience required (preferably in a SaaS role or company).
• 2+ years’ experience in outbound sales (full sales cycle) role required.
• Industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships.
• Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new programs and systems.
• The Outside Software Account Representative conducts greater than 50% of their work outside of their home office.
• 50% driving requirement and valid drivers license.
• Must live local to the city of the job posting (within a 1-hour commute).

Responsibilities

• Call on existing clients to nurture and grow relationships while identifying and pursuing new client opportunities to meet a predetermined sales quota.
• Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs.
• Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (networks, referrals, etc.) and company-initiated prospecting programs.
• Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (cadences for client and prospect engagement, product certifications, order entry, etc.).
• Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed.
