Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a field inspector to monitor multiple project activities on wind and solar sites across the United States. The role involves QA/QC inspections, reviewing submittals, maintaining logs, and coordinating with field teams to ensure compliance with design documents and safety standards.

The position is remote with 50-60% travel across the US, requiring strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to support large-scale renewable projects.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• High School graduate or equivalent with 3+ years in related construction field.
• Must be capable of passing local/state SWPPP inspector program.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect and ensure quality of work on wind and solar projects, including roads, environmental, concrete, electrical, and utilities.
• Review tests and inspection reports and coordinate resolutions for non-conformities.
• Maintain logs and reports: material tracking, test/inspection, concrete, grout, non-conformance.
• Coordinate submittals to align with project and procurement schedules.
• Ensure materials comply with submittals, PO, and product data.
