Job summary

MasTec Renewables is offering a 12-week on-site program for an inspection QC/QA role supporting wind, solar, and other renewables projects across the US. Ideal candidates are enrolled in construction management, civil engineering, or related fields and comfortable with field work, safety protocols, and detailed reporting.

Eligible participants will travel to job sites with daily per diem, work under supervision with field engineers, and develop documentation for operations and maintenance while

Qualifications

• Read, analyze and interpret blueprints and technical procedures.
• Write daily reports and document project activities.
• Calculate figures and amounts (area, circumference, volume).
• Apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
• Communicate clearly with a diverse field team.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with inspection quality of work during construction of wind and solar projects.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
• Plan daily activities to ensure QA/QC data is accurately recorded.
• Identify and address deficiencies with field engineering staff.
• Interface with field foreman to report progress and maintain open communication.
• Assemble information for operations and maintenance manuals and contact lists.
• Maintain complete records during inspections for archival transfer.
• Inspect work and help establish punch lists.
• Assist in determining calibration status of measuring/test equipment.
• Collaborate with Field Engineers and team members.
