Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking a field QC Inspector for a 12-week program, traveling to job sites across the US. You will work alongside Field Engineers to inspect wind and solar projects, document QA/QC data, and help ensure conformance to specifications.

The role requires basic math, blueprint reading, and proficiency with Word and Excel. You must be willing to work flexible shifts, climb stairs and ladders, and maintain accurate records for handover to maintenance manuals.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical procedures.
• Proficient in Word and Excel; able to document daily activities.
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with inspection quality of work on wind and solar projects.
• Plan and conduct daily activities with organized time management.
• Record QA/QC data accurately and maintain paperwork.
• Interface with field engineers and foremen to monitor progress.
• Assist in compiling information for operations and maintenance manuals.
