Job summary

MasTec Renewables is offering a 12-week field-based program across US job sites for aspiring construction QA/QC inspectors supporting wind and solar projects. You will work with Field Engineers, perform inspections, and generate reports on conditions found, while maintaining safety and documentation.

Candidates are currently enrolled in a BS degree program in Construction Management or related fields, with strong reading of blueprints, data recording, and proficiency in Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a BS degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and safety policies.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with inspection quality during daily construction activities on wind and solar projects.
• Record QA data accurately and report issues to supervision.
• Coordinate with field engineers and foremen to ensure conformance to specs.
• Prepare punch lists and assist in calibration checks of tools.
• Maintain organized records and compile information for manuals.
