Job summary

MasTec Renewables, through Wanzek Construction, IA Constructors and White Construction, seeks inspectors to monitor and verify field activities on large-scale wind and solar installations. The role emphasizes compliance with specifications, drawings, and submittals, with field mentoring of junior staff.

The successful candidate will develop project knowledge, maintain quality logs, and coordinate with permitting and field teams to ensure timely inspections and test completions.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical Eng or related field with 1–2 years' construction experience.
• High School diploma with 3+ years related construction experience.
• Must complete local/state SWPPP inspector program.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures
• Inspect and ensure QA/QC of work on wind and solar projects
• Review tests and inspection reports; coordinate resolutions
• Develop and maintain QC logs and submittal tracking
• Prepare daily project updates and punch lists
