Job summary

MasTec Renewables is offering a 12-week field program supporting wind and solar project inspections across the United States. You will work with Field Engineers, perform QA/QC inspections, generate reports, and help maintain documentation for on-site activities.

The role requires enrollment in a Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related BS program. Gain hands-on experience on renewable energy projects, with per diem and close supervision.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Willingness to learn and apply QA/QC procedures on-site.
• Comfort with interpreting blueprints and technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with inspection quality during daily project activities (wind/solar).
• Document project activities and write daily reports.
• Record QA/QC data accurately and completely.
• Coordinate with field engineers and foremen to ensure compliance.
• Assist in creating maintenance manuals and operating instructions.
• Maintain complete records during inspections and help develop punch lists.
• Assist in calibrating measuring and test equipment.
• Interface cross-functionally with field teams and management.
• Other duties as assigned.
