Job summary

Premier Nutrition is seeking a Market Development Manager to own a territory and grow the business at the store level. This field-based role will travel to call on chain and independent retailers, open new accounts, and ensure in-store execution of displays and promotions.

Based remotely with HQ in Emeryville, CA, you will partner with distributor teams, analyze data and KPIs, and maximize distribution and visibility across Premier Protein and Dymatize brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in field sales, DSD, beverage/CPG, distributor sales, or a similar environment with direct retail execution.
• Demonstrated ability to call on retail accounts, sell incremental opportunities, and manage priorities across a territory.
• Experience working with distributor teams or navigating a distributor-led environment.
• Ability to operate independently, manage a fast-moving field schedule, and use data and KPIs to prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned territory and drive sales, distribution, display, and execution goals.
• Call on chain and independent retailers, open new accounts, close distribution gaps, and identify growth opportunities.
• Sell new SKUs, displays, and secondary placements, then ensure execution in store.
• Use data and KPIs to prioritize opportunities and focus on high-impact areas.
• Maintain territory planning, reporting, scorecards, expenses, and administrative tasks.
