Job summary

Premier Nutrition Company (PNC) is seeking a Market Development Manager to own a territory and grow PNC’s business at the store level through retailer and distributor partnerships and in-store execution.

This field-based, remote role involves travel across the market, calls on chain and independent retailers, builds displays, and translates plans into retail results. The position is based remotely with occasional meetings at our Emeryville, California headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in field sales, DSD, beverage/CPG, or distributor sales.
• Demonstrated ability to call on retail accounts, manage priorities and translate plans into in-store results.

Responsibilities

• Own an assigned territory and deliver against sales, distribution, display, and execution goals.
• Call on chain and independent retailers, open new accounts, close distribution gaps, identify growth opportunities.
• Sell new SKUs and displays, ensure execution in store and with distributor teams.
• Monitor territory performance and adjust plans based on market opportunities and challenges.
• Collaborate with distributors and internal teams to drive KPI achievement.
