Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Remote Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to deploy and support complex ECH solutions for public safety customers. You will handle on-site configurations, testing, and post-cut support, with significant travel across the US and internationally.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering environments, strong cloud/IT infrastructure experience, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in an Engineering or Technical environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
• Experience deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.

Responsibilities

• Configures and tests ECH solutions on hybrid cloud and SaaS-based applications.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cut.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between on-site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes to the solution and API integrations during deployment.
• Participates in cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Maintains subject matter expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
