Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to implement and support on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions. This remote US role requires extensive travel and will handle site configuration, testing, cutover, and post-cut support.

You will configure systems, test connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments, and document changes during deployment. The position demands 5+ years in a technical role, cloud credentials, and strong telephony

Qualifications

• High School diploma or better in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in an engineering or technical environment.
• US work authorization; sponsorship not available; US citizenship for security clearance where required.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions on-site and remotely.
• Verify site readiness and perform cutover to production.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Support customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during implementation.
• Resolve installation and quality issues promptly.
• Contribute to MOPs for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Assist in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintain expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
