Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to lead on-site configuration, testing, cutover, and post-cut support for both on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions. This role requires working remotely with up to 75% travel across the US and internationally.

You will configure systems, verify site readiness, troubleshoot cloud–local connectivity, and collaborate with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Experience deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Travel readiness up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Configure ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based apps.
• Perform site verification testing before production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between on-premise and cloud environments.
• Provide deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Ensure timely resolution of installation and quality issues.
• Contribute to MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Engage in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
