Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to implement and support ECH solutions across on‑premise and cloud environments. You will configure systems, verify site readiness, and collaborate with customers and partners to ensure a smooth production cutover.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering/IT, strong networking and virtualization skills, and willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering/technical environments.
• US work authorization; security clearance eligibility required.
• US citizenship required for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Configure and implement Emergency Call Handling (ECH) solutions on-site and in cloud.
• Perform site verification testing and cutover to production environments.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud apps.
• Support customers and partners during deployment and post-cut stages.
• Document changes including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Develop procedures for cloud migrations and system upgrades.
• Participate in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintain expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
