Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Remote ECH Field Engineer to deploy Emergency Call Handling solutions across US sites. You will configure systems, verify sites, and support cloud-based and on-premise deployments while collaborating with customers and partners.

The role demands 3+ years in deploying IP products, cloud troubleshooting, and strong Windows/Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and network infrastructure knowledge. Travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications and troubleshooting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Supports customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations during deployment.
• Keeps installation issues resolved in a timely manner.
• Participates in MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Engages in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations as needed.
• Maintains skills in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
