Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer (remote in the US) to lead deployment and integration of ECH solutions across on-premises and cloud-hosted environments.

You will configure systems, verify sites, test connectivity to cloud services, and support customers and partners through production cutovers, with 75% travel and a focus on public safety applications. A Bachelor's in engineering/IT and 3+ years' deployment experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/IT/tech.
• 3+ years deployment and integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms and deployment models (Azure/AWS).
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) preferred.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ certifications beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based applications.
• Performs site verification testing prior to cutting a site into production.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud-hosted environments.
• Provides support to Customer and Channel Partners during deployment of the ECH solution.
• Documents changes to the solution including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures installation issues are resolved timely and efficiently.
• Participates in development/approval of Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations as required.
• Maintains SME skills in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
