Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to implement and support on-premise and cloud-hosted ECH solutions. You will perform system configuration, site verification, and work with hybrid cloud deployments, while coordinating with customers and partners.

This remote role requires US travel up to 75% and eligibility for a US passport. You should have a college degree in engineering or IT, cloud and virtualization experience, and knowledge of Windows, Linux,

Qualifications

• College degree in engineering, IT, or technology.
• ~3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications and experience with cloud-based troubleshooting.
• Experience with virtualization and server operating systems.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, networking, and telephony basics.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud applications.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and partners during deployment.
• Documents changes including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Maintains SME skills in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
