Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a remote Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to implement and support ECH solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. The role involves site verification, configuration, and post-cut support with substantial travel in the US and internationally.

Candidates should have 5+ years in engineering/technical roles, cloud and virtualization skills, and security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher in computer science, engineering, IT or technology.
• 5+ years in engineering or technical environment.
• US work authorization with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Preferred cloud certifications and public safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS elements.
• Verify site readiness and perform production cutovers.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Support customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Contribute to methods of procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Engage in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintain expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
