Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to implement and support on-premise and cloud-hosted solutions across the US. This remote role requires extensive travel and independent execution.

You will configure systems, verify site readiness, and coordinate with customers and partners while documenting changes and contributing to cloud migration procedures. A strong background in IP deployment and public safety tech is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) are a plus.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance as required by government contract.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting and identity management (SSO/AD).

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Perform site verification testing prior to production.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Document changes and configurations during deployment.
• Support customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Develop procedures for cloud migrations and system upgrades.
