Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to deploy and support Emergency Call Handling solutions across on‑premise and cloud environments. The role requires extensive travel (US and international) and strong collaboration with customers and partners.

You will configure systems, perform testing, troubleshoot cloud and on‑premise connectivity, and document all changes. A background in IP deployments and telephony is essential for success in this fast‑moving, mission‑critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, IT, or technology.
• Several years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud experience and certifications are a plus.
• Experience with server virtualization and Windows Server environments.
• Familiarity with SBCs, SIP, and telephony concepts.

Responsibilities

• Configure and verify ECH solutions on-site and in cloud environments.
• Perform site verification testing before production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Document changes and API integrations during deployment.
• Support customers and partners during deployment.
• Develop and approve cloud migration methods and SOPs.
• Participate in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
