Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to lead remote deployments across the US with heavy travel. You will configure, test, and integrate ECH solutions across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments, working with customers and channel partners to ensure successful production readiness.

The role requires a college degree in Engineering/IT, 3+ years in deployment/integration, Cloud certifications, and strong AD/networking know-how.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• ~3+ years of experience in deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Relevant Cloud Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
• Experience with Cloud-based application troubleshooting and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Experience with Server Virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V).
• Database Servers: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2/2012/2016/2022.
• Windows Server 2012/2016/2022, Windows 10/11.
• Cisco IOS networking; Fortinet FortiGate firewall knowledge.
• Public Safety applications deployment/ integration preferred.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for all supported ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Supports customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved promptly.
• Contributes to Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract discussions and customer negotiations.
