Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Remote ECH Field Engineer to deploy and integrate cloud-enabled Emergency Call Handling solutions across the US and internationally. You will configure systems, verify site readiness, and coordinate with customers and partners to ensure successful deployments.

The role requires 3+ years in deployment/integration of IP products, cloud certifications, and strong AD/SSO expertise. Travel up to 75% is expected, including international assignments.

Qualifications

• College Degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• ~3+ years of experience deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner).
• Experience with cloud-based application troubleshooting including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/Active Directory).
• Experience with server virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V 2012+).
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2/2012/2016/2022.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016/2022 and Windows 10/11.
• Knowledge of Linux and network switches (Cisco IOS).
• Basic knowledge of Firewalls/Routers (Fortinet FortiGate).
• Telephony knowledge related to analog lines and PRI; basic Active Directory knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS applications.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Contributes to cloud migration and system upgrade procedures (MOP).
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains knowledge of emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
