Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to lead deployment and integration of ECH solutions. The role covers on-premise and cloud-hosted systems with extensive travel across the US and internationally.

You will configure, test, and support cloud and hybrid deployments, document changes, and work with customers and channel partners to ensure successful production readiness. A strong background in virtualization, networking, and AD basics is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in deployment or integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS, Microsoft, or CompTIA security-related certs.
• Cloud-based application troubleshooting experience including connectivity & identity management (SSO/AD).
• Server virtualization experience: RedHat KVM, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V.
• SQL Server experience (2008 R2/2012/2016).
• Windows Server and Windows 10/11 administration experience.
• Cisco IOS switches and Fortinet FortiGate knowledge.
• Active Directory basics and account/role management.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS apps.
• Conducts site verification testing before production cutover.
• Configures connectivity between on-site infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Resolves installation/quality issues promptly during deployment.
• Contributes to development and approval of cloud migration MOPs and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
