Motorola Solutions is hiring an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer for a remote U.S. role with heavy travel (50–75% to 75%). You will configure and verify ECH systems, both on-prem and cloud, and support deployments for public safety solutions.

The position emphasizes cloud and hybrid deployment, virtualization, and security expertise, with strong emphasis on documentation and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Engineering/IT degree required or equivalent.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environments.
• US work authorization; travel up to 75%.
• Strong mix of on-prem and cloud exposure in ECH deployments.
• Experience with virtualization, networks, and security.

Responsibilities

• Configure ECH solutions on premise and cloud, including hybrid cloud.
• Perform site verification testing before production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Support customers and channels during deployment.
• Document changes including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Contribute to MOPs for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Engage in pre-contract presentations and client negotiations.
