Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to lead on-site and cloud‑hosted deployments. You will configure, test, and support ECH solutions across customer sites, ensuring successful production cuts and smooth handoffs to operations.

Remote-first role with extensive travel and cross‑region collaboration. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in deploying IP-based systems, strong cloud troubleshooting, and proficiency with VMware/Hyper‑V, Windows/Linux,

Qualifications

College Degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
5+ years of experience in the deployment or Integration of complex IP products and systems.
CompTIA Network+ and Security+ are a plus; Cloud certifications are a plus.
Experience with Cloud-based troubleshooting, including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/Active Directory).
Experience with Server virtualization (VMware ESXi, Hyper-V) and Windows/Linux server environments.

Responsibilities

Performs system configuration for all ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
Configures connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud-hosted environments.
Supports customers and channel partners during deployment.
Documents changes to cloud Tenant configurations and API integrations.
Ensures issues are resolved timely and participates in cloud migration/MOPs.
