Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a remote ECH Field Engineer to deploy and integrate complex IP-based systems for public safety. You’ll configure on-site and cloud components, verify sites, and ensure secure, scalable connections while supporting customers and partners.

Expect substantial travel (US and international) and a strong emphasis on cloud-native technologies, virtualization, and multi-OS environments. A relevant engineering/IT degree and 5+ years in technical deployments are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires engineering/tech background and cloud experience.
• Experience deploying/integrating IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Microsoft, etc.) preferred.
• Proficient in Active Directory, networking, and security basics.
• Experience with virtualization and Windows/Linux servers.
• Public safety applications deployment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutovers.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between on-site and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and channel partners.
• Documents changes including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
• Develops and approves methods for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Participates in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety tech.
