Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced ECH Field Engineer to deploy and support Emergency Call Handling solutions on-premise and in cloud environments. The role reports to the ECH Field Engineer Manager and requires extensive travel, including international, with remote work possible within the US.

You will configure systems, verify site readiness, troubleshoot cloud and local connectivity, and assist customers and partners throughout deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environment.
• Experience with deployment/integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications are a plus.
• Experience with cloud-based application troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Configure and test ECH solutions on-site and in cloud contexts.
• Perform site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Support customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Document changes, configurations, and integrations during deployment.
• Ensure timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Contribute to MOP development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Assist in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud-native public safety technologies.
