Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to implement, configure, and support ECH solutions for on‑premise and cloud environments. The role emphasizes remote work with extensive travel to US and international sites, and close coordination with customers and partners to ensure smooth deployments.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in engineering/technical roles, strong cloud and virtualization experience, and relevant networking certifications. U.S.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 3+ years deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure) are a plus.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+.
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting, including connectivity, latency analysis, and identity management (SSO/Active Directory).
• Experience with virtualization and server/DB services (VMware ESXi, Hyper‑V, Windows Server, SQL).

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for all supported ECH solutions including hybrid cloud and SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local infra and cloud environments.
• Documents changes to the solution including cloud configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures installation/quality issues are resolved promptly.
• Participates in development and approval of MOPs for cloud migrations.
