Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to drive on-site configuration, testing, cutover, and post-cut support for ECH solutions in hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.

This remote role requires up to 75% travel across the US and internationally, with responsibility for configuring cloud integrations, validating site readiness, and collaborating with customers and partners to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in deploying or integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.
• Network and security fundamentals (Network+/Security+).
• Experience with cloud-based troubleshooting and identity management (SSO/AD).

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud and SaaS-based applications.
• Performs site verification testing prior to production cutover.
• Configures and troubleshoots connectivity between local and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and channel partners during deployment.
• Documents changes to cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation and quality issues.
• Participates in method development for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Engages in pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations as needed.
• Maintains expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
