Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced ECH Field Engineer to deploy and support Emergency Call Handling solutions across on-premise and cloud environments. You will lead site configuration, testing, and production cutover while coordinating with customers and partners.

The role is remote within the United States with substantial travel (50–75% typical, up to 75%+ for international engagements). A strong background in IP deployment, cloud tech, and public safety systems is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in engineering/technical environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not available).
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Configure and verify ECH solutions per site design.
• Perform site verification testing before production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between on-site infra and cloud environments.
• Provide customer and channel partner support during deployment.
• Document changes to cloud tenants and APIs during deployment.
• Resolve installation/quality issues in a timely manner.
• Contribute to Methods of Procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Assist in pre-contract presentations and negotiations as needed.
• Maintain expertise in emerging cloud-native public safety technologies.
