Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an Emergency Call Handling (ECH) Field Engineer to lead on-site and cloud-hosted deployments across the US. Responsibilities cover configuring ECH systems, testing, cloud connectivity, and post-cut support for both on-premise and cloud environments.

The role requires 3+ years in deployment of complex IP products, familiarity with cloud platforms, and travel greater than 75%. A Bachelor's in engineering/IT and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Software Engineering, or Technology.
• 3+ years of deployment and integration of complex IP products and systems.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms and deployment models (Azure, AWS, or Private Cloud).
• Cloud-based application troubleshooting including connectivity, latency analysis and identity management (SSO/AD).
• Relevant Cloud Certifications (AWS, Azure) preferred.
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+.

Responsibilities

• Performs system configuration for ECH solutions including hybrid cloud/SaaS.
• Site verification testing prior to production cuts.
• Configures connectivity between local infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Provides support to customers and partners during deployment.
• Documents changes including cloud tenant configurations and API integrations.
• Ensures timely resolution of installation/quality issues.
• Participates in methods of procedure for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Pre-contract presentations and customer negotiations as required.
• Maintains expertise in cloud-native public safety technologies.
