Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced Emergency Call Handling Field Engineer to support remote deployments across the US, traveling 75%+. You will configure, test, and cut sites into production for on‑premise and cloud‑hosted ECH solutions, coordinating with customers and channel partners to ensure a smooth transition.

You will document changes, develop cloud migration procedures, and stay current with cloud-native public safety technologies while providing timely post‑cut support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3+ years deploying and integrating complex IP products and systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment models.

Responsibilities

• Configures and tests ECH solutions, including hybrid cloud/SaaS.
• Performs site verification testing before production cutover.
• Sets up connectivity between on‑premises and cloud environments.
• Provides deployment support to customers and partners.
• Documents changes to cloud tenants and API integrations.
• Resolves installation/quality issues promptly.
• Contributes to cloud migration/upgrade methods and presentations.
• Participates in pre‑contract discussions as required.
