Job summary

Motorola Solutions is hiring an experienced ECH Field Engineer for a remote role in the US with extensive travel. You will configure and verify deployments of on-premise and cloud-hosted Emergency Call Handling solutions, work with customers and partners, and document procedures for cloud migrations and integrations.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering/technical environments, strong IT foundations, and the ability to travel 50–75% across the US and internationally.

Qualifications

• College degree in Engineering, IT, or Technology.
• 5+ years in Engineering/Technical environment.
• Legal US work authorization; US citizenship for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy ECH solutions including hybrid cloud/SaaS.
• Perform site verification testing and production cutover.
• Troubleshoot connectivity between on-site infra and cloud apps.
• Support customers and partners during deployment.
• Document changes: cloud configs and API integrations.
• Resolve installation/quality issues promptly.
• Contribute to MOPs for cloud migrations and upgrades.
• Assist in pre-contract presentations and negotiations.
• Maintain expertise in cloud-native public safety tech.
