Job summary
Leica Biosystems is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to deliver technical expertise and drive successful adoption of our instrumentation across the assigned territory. You will partner with Sales, Service, and customers to support instrument implementation, workflow optimization, and customer training in a fast-paced, remote-ready environment.
The role emphasizes troubleshooting, customer onboarding, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience or a Master’s degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of Histology, Immunohistochemistry, Pathology, or related laboratory marketplace.
- HT/HTL certification preferred and ability to troubleshoot applications and support lab workflow optimization.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales and Service teams to support regional revenue growth and adoption of Leica Biosystems solutions.
- Lead instrument installations, evaluations, validations, and workflow optimization for successful implementation.
- Provide expert applications support, troubleshooting, and training to improve customer competency and lab performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues and deliver timely customer solutions.
- Support continuous improvement by sharing field insights and documenting issues to strengthen products and service.
