Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to act as the primary scientific and technical representative in Washington, Idaho, and Alaska, primarily serving the Seattle area. You will provide on-site support, training, and troubleshooting for Roche systems across the product lifecycle.

The role requires strong lab knowledge, 3 years of clinical lab/IT experience, and the ability to travel ~70% or more. A company car is provided and relocation benefits are not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory, and/or relevant experience.
• 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or IT in a clinical lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site customer support for Roche systems, including installation, training, and troubleshooting.
• Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders and support product lifecycle needs.
• Resolve complex instrument, software, and assay issues with root-cause analysis.
• Travel 70%+ within a defined territorial area (WA, ID, AK) and reside in the Seattle area.
• Capture and relay customer feedback to support and commercial teams to improve service.
