Zusammenfassung

Roche is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to join our Support Network. You will be the primary scientific and technical representative in Washington, Idaho, and Alaska, supporting Seattle-area Roche systems in core labs with on-site installation, training, and troubleshooting.

The role involves 70%+ travel, working with lab stakeholders and the sales team, and maintaining records per Roche protocols. A bachelor’s degree and clinical lab experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory, and/or relevant experience.
• 3 years of previous experience in a clinical laboratory or IT in a clinical lab environment.
• Experience with Roche solutions and immunoassay knowledge preferred.

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customer stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and value within the lab operations.
• Install and validate complex diagnostic instruments, software, and reagent applications in customer laboratories, ensuring performance meets manufacturer specifications.
• Deliver on-site training to laboratory personnel on Roche systems, including theory of operation, workflow, quality control, and data interpretation.
• Serve as the primary on-site resource for resolving complex technical issues related to instrumentation, software, and assay performance; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
