Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to act as the primary scientific and technical representative for Roche systems in the Core Lab space, primarily supporting the Seattle area. You will provide best-in-class on-site customer support, including installation, operator training, and troubleshooting throughout the product life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or IT in a clinical lab environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and training skills.
• Willingness to travel 70%+.

Responsibilities

• Install and validate complex diagnostic instruments and software at customer laboratories.
• Provide on-site training to laboratory personnel on Roche systems and assays.
• Serve as the primary on-site resource for resolving technical issues and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with sales and other Roche teams to support total solutions.
• Maintain timely records of service activities and travel/expense reporting.
