Job summary

Roche seeks a Field Applications Specialist to act as the primary liaison during implementation and provide on-site advisory support for Roche Tissue instruments. You will plan and deliver customer training tailored to needs throughout the life cycle.

This field-based role covers the Northwest region (Portland, OR or Seattle, WA) with travel as needed. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in lab IT/diagnostics are required; histology and strong communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years of experience implementing and evaluating complex lab, IT products, diagnostic equipment, reagents, or systems.
• Strong customer engagement and communication skills with project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison with customers during implementation and ongoing support.
• Provide on-site advisory support and tailored training for Roche Tissue instruments and solutions.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency, optimization, and potential sales of consumables and software; perform problems solving independently.
• Maintain quality systems and ensure regular attendance as required.
