Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Applications Specialist to be the primary scientific and technical representative in the Seattle, WA area and surrounding states. You will support Roche systems in core lab laboratories, delivering on-site installation, training, and troubleshooting throughout the product life cycle.

You will travel extensively (up to 70%) across Washington, Idaho, and Alaska, providing expert knowledge to customers, coordinating with sales, and ensuring high-quality lab operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory or IT in a clinical lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customer stakeholders in the lab setting to ensure high satisfaction.
• Install, validate, and support complex Roche instrumentation and software in client labs.
• Provide on-site training on Roche systems, workflows, QC, and data interpretation.
• Troubleshoot instrument and assay issues, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with sales and project teams on pre- and post-sales activities and total solutions.
