Job summary

Cytokinetics, Inc. is seeking a Field Access Manager to ensure payer access aligns with FDA labeling and payer requirements. This field-based role covers the Northeast US and requires travel to engage with providers, HUB vendors, and payers.

You will analyze payer data, educate internal stakeholders, and work with Market Access to remove barriers while maintaining compliant patient services. Remote work options within the territory are expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, patient access services, HUB services, specialty pharmacy, or market access support roles.
• Strong understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, prior authorization workflows, and specialty pharmacy distribution models.
• Experience with HUB systems, case management platforms, and specialty pharmacy data feeds.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; able to translate complex reimbursement scenarios into actionable steps.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced launch or high-growth environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive identification and resolution of patient access barriers across payer coverage, prior authorization, step edits, copay assistance, and specialty pharmacy routing.
• Partner with HCP offices to support benefits verification and payer documentation requirements.
• Analyze HUB, specialty pharmacy, and payer data to identify gaps and implement compliant process improvements.
• Provide approved access education to internal stakeholders; avoid sharing patient-specific information with Sales.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Patient Services, and HUB vendors to improve pull-through and resolve access friction points.
• Monitor access metrics and translate insights into action plans.
• Manage high-priority case escalations requiring cross-functional coordination.
• Conduct payer landscape monitoring for policy changes and coverage shifts.
