Job summary

Cytokinetics, Inc. is seeking a Field Access Manager to support payer access, prior authorizations, and patient services across the Gulf Coast region, with travel as required.

In this field-based role, you will partner with sales, HUB vendors, and payers to streamline benefits verification, educate stakeholders, and translate payer dynamics into actionable field solutions that protect patient access to therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, healthcare administration or related field.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, patient access services, HUB or market access roles.
• Strong understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, prior authorization workflows and SP data.
• Experience with HUB systems, case management platforms, and specialty pharmacy data feeds.
• Ability to resolve complex access and reimbursement cases in field-based roles.
• Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office; BI tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive identification and resolution of patient access barriers across payer coverage, prior authorization, step edits and copay paths.
• Partner with HCP offices to support benefits verification and payer documentation requirements.
• Analyze HUB, specialty pharmacy and payer data to identify access gaps and implement compliant improvements.
• Serve as a field access subject matter expert, delivering approved education to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Patient Services and HUB vendors to improve pull-through efficiency.
• Support launch readiness and lifecycle management by identifying access barriers early and mitigating in the field.
• Monitor access metrics (time to fill, PA rates, abandonment, conversion) and translate insights into action plans.
• Manage high-priority case escalations involving complex reimbursement or payer issues.
• Conduct payer landscape monitoring at the regional level for policy changes or coverage shifts.
• Deliver structured field insights to inform access strategy and patient support program enhancements.
