Job summary

Cytokinetics is seeking a Field Access Manager to proactively address patient access barriers across payer coverage, prior authorizations, and specialty pharmacy routing within the Mid South region. You will partner with sales, HUB vendors, patient services, and payers to ensure therapy initiation and continuous access while maintaining compliant processes.

The role requires travel within the territory, strong payer knowledge, and the ability to translate data into field-ready actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, healthcare administration, or related field.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical field reimbursement, patient access services, HUB or market access roles.
• Strong understanding of payer dynamics, reimbursement pathways, and PA workflows.
• Experience with HUB systems, case management platforms, and specialty pharmacy data feeds.
• Ability to resolve complex access and reimbursement cases in field contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead proactive identification and resolution of patient access barriers across payer coverage and prior authorizations.
• Collaborate with HCP offices to support benefits verification and payer documentation requirements.
• Analyze HUB, specialty pharmacy, and payer data to find access gaps and drive improvements.
• Serve as field access SME, delivering compliant education to internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Market Access, Patient Services, and HUB vendors to improve pull-through and reduce friction.
• Support launch readiness and lifecycle management by early identification of access barriers.
• Monitor key access metrics and translate insights into action plans.
• Manage high-priority escalations involving complex payor issues.
• Conduct regional payer landscape monitoring for policy shifts.
• Provide structured field insights to inform access strategy and HUB optimization.
