YO AI Labs is seeking a Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert to support an AI-focused project. You will create, review, and evaluate federal and military-style reports while applying established documentation, reporting, and compliance standards.

No prior AI experience is required, but strong writing and analytical skills are essential. This remote contractor role offers flexible collaboration with cross-functional teams in a federal context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of federal reporting or staff writing experience.
• Experience with military or federal reporting formats and standards.
• Background with one or more US military branches preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices.
• Experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, exec summaries, and briefings.
• Develop content following federal and military reporting standards.
• Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards.
• Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
• Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity and compliance.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.
