YO AI Labs is seeking a Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert to support an AI-focused project. You will create, review, and evaluate federal and military-style reports while applying established documentation, reporting, and compliance standards.

No prior AI experience is required. This remote role emphasizes independent collaboration with DoD-focused teams to maintain high-quality deliverables and strict compliance with federal reporting formats.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of federal reporting or staff writing experience, preferably with the DoD.
• Familiarity with military/federal reporting formats and standards.
• Background with US military branches preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings.
• Develop content following federal and military reporting standards.
• Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards.
• Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
• Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.
