Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert to support an AI-focused project. This remote contractor role requires you to create, review, and evaluate federal and military-style reports while adhering to established documentation, reporting, and compliance standards.

You will work independently and with cross-functional teams to produce WARs, SITREPs, and executive summaries, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and compliance in a remote environment within the United States.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in federal reporting or staff writing.
Experience with military or federal reporting formats and documentation standards.
Background with one or more branches of the US military preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
US-based with experience handling confidential federal or military documentation.

Responsibilities

Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings.
Develop content following federal and military reporting standards.
Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards.
Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.
