YO AI Labs is seeking a Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert to support an AI-focused project. You will create and review federal and military-style reports in compliance with established documentation, reporting, and compliance standards.

No prior AI experience is required. The role emphasizes collaboration with remote teams, accuracy, and adherence to security standards while handling confidential federal or military documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in federal reporting or staff writing, preferably with the Department of Defense.
• Experience with military or federal reporting formats and documentation standards.
• Background with one or more branches of the US military preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices.

Responsibilities

• Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings.
• Develop clear, accurate content following federal and military reporting standards.
• Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards.
• Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
• Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.
