YO AI Labs is seeking a Federal Reporting & Staff Writing Expert to support an AI-focused program. This remote, US-based contractor will create and review federal and military-style reports, ensuring compliance and high quality.

You will craft WARs, SITREPs, executive summaries, and briefings, following established federal standards. Collaboration with distributed teams and strict handling of confidential documents are essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in federal reporting or staff writing, preferably within the DoD.
Experience with military or federal reporting formats and documentation standards.
US-based with experience handling confidential federal or military documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of federal compliance and reporting practices.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

Create and review WARs, SITREPs, after-action reports, executive summaries, and briefings.
Develop content following federal and military reporting standards.
Evaluate sample reports using grading criteria and quality standards.
Develop reference responses, guidelines, and evaluation rubrics.
Provide expert feedback on reporting structure, clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
Collaborate remotely with project teams to improve deliverables.
