Job summary

Splunk is seeking a Leader to build and coach our Federal Business Development Representative team. You'll manage reps who generate qualified pipeline across Federal Civilian and DoD/Intel accounts, from inbound and outbound leads.

This is a hands-on coaching role, spending time with reps to sharpen discovery and opportunity qualification before handing to sellers who close. This role can be performed from anywhere in the United States, with responsibilities to hire, develop, and retain top

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of BDRs covering Federal Civilian and DoD/Intel.
• Drive the team to source and qualify pipeline from inbound leads and outbound prospecting.
• Shadow rep calls and provide regular, specific feedback on discovery and qualification.
• Partner with Marketing on event registration campaigns and digital events.
• Monitor weekly pipeline and activity metrics, keep forecast and CRM data accurate.
• Work with account teams and specialist sellers to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Attract, hire, and retain strong talent, and build a team culture that supports growth.
• Report on team performance to senior leadership and recommend improvements.

Education
